Install the module

Open the Odoo App Store from the button above and click Install on Launchmind Blog. On Odoo.sh and Enterprise installs this is a one-click action. On self-hosted installs, upload the downloaded ZIP via Apps > Update Apps List > Upload Module.

Tip: The module depends only on the standard website_blog module, which Odoo includes by default, no extra dependencies to install.

Open the settings page

In your Odoo backend, go to Settings > Website. Scroll down until you see the "Launchmind Blog" block.

Paste your API key & connect

Enter your Launchmind API key (find it in your Launchmind dashboard under Settings > API) and click Connect. The module will register your Odoo URL with Launchmind.

  • Your Odoo base URL must use HTTPS and be publicly reachable
  • The same API key authenticates incoming webhooks from Launchmind
  • Click Disconnect any time to stop receiving articles

Watch articles arrive

Within one minute of clicking Connect, your most recent published articles appear in Website > Blog as native blog.post records under a "Launchmind Blog" blog. From now on, every new article you publish in Launchmind is pushed automatically.

How it works under the hood

    Launchmind generates a new article and marks it as published in the database.
  2. 2
    A pg_cron job runs every minute on Launchmind, finds new articles for subscriptions with Odoo connected, and POSTs them to your /launchmind-blog/webhook endpoint.

    Your Odoo verifies the bearer token against your locally stored API key, then upserts a blog.post record (idempotent, re-deliveries update instead of duplicating).

    The article appears under your Odoo Website's blog, fully editable with the standard Odoo Website Builder.

Troubleshooting

I clicked Connect but got "Could not reach Launchmind"

Your Odoo server cannot reach launchmind.io. Check that outbound HTTPS is allowed from your Odoo host. Try curl https://launchmind.io from the server.

I clicked Connect but got "Launchmind rejected the API key"

Double-check the key in your Launchmind dashboard at Settings > API. The key must belong to an active subscription.

I see "Connected" but no articles arrive

Check that your Odoo base URL (Settings > Technical > System Parameters > web.base.url) is publicly reachable over HTTPS. Launchmind needs to POST to your-odoo-url/launchmind-blog/webhook from the public internet. If you are testing on a local dev machine, articles will not arrive until your URL is reachable.

Can I use this on Odoo Online (SaaS)?

No, Odoo Online does not allow third-party modules. The connector works on Odoo.sh, Odoo Enterprise on-premise, and any self-hosted Odoo install.
